What is card-linking?
Kadogo Card Linking as a Service (CLaaS) API provides quick and easy access to real-time transaction data from the three major card networks — Visa, Mastercard, and Amex — through a single integration point. Card-linking removes the issues of cost, complexity, and compliance that usually make it difficult to access payment data. CLaaS enables you to receive matching funds for your nonprofit with ease from brands and workplaces.
How does card-linking work?
Customers sign up for Kadogo’s loyalty program by securely scanning their long card number. They consent to share their data with Kadogo, and donors and employees shop as usual.
Donors and Employees can earn and be notified of rewards in real-time, with no need for frictional cards, coupons, or codes. Granular transaction data is delivered to nonprofits and workplaces in real-time via Kadogo’s dashboard. It includes merchant names and geolocation, so you can identify when customers have spent in specific branches. Data is securely encrypted and tokenized so that you never handle sensitive data directly.
Card-linking allows you to identify your customer at every touchpoint, whether on or offline. It lets you engage with your customer and capture their data without having to change your infrastructure, train your staff, or add complexity at checkout.
What are the benefits?
Card-linking is a secure way to scale your give days, giving Tuesdays, fundraising programs, and corporate partnerships. It makes it easy to gather the transaction data you need and removes friction from your customer journey.
